Serve on the Board
There are six officers of the board, consisting of chair, vice-chair, secretary, treasurer, communications specialist, and historian. The board may create committees as needed.
Elections take place at the June meeting. All officers are seated at the July meeting and serve a term of one year. Their duties are as follows:
| Chair | The chair shall preside over all meetings and be an ex-officio member of all committees. |
| Vice-Chair | The vice-chair shall perform duties of the chair should the chair become unable to fulfill his/her duties for whatever reason. |
| Secretary | The secretary shall be responsible for keeping records of board actions, including overseeing the taking of minutes at all meetings, sending out meeting announcements, distributing copies of minutes and the agenda to members, and assuring that corporate records are maintained. |
| Treasurer | The treasurer shall be the custodian of the organization's funds, supervise receipts and expenditures, and make financial information available to members and the public. |
| Communications Specialist | The communications specialist shall ensure that the organization's printed, electronic, and other materials represent the mission of the organization. |
| Historian | The historian shall be responsible for maintaining the archives of the organization. |
